Moving Public Folders from 5.5 to 2000

Use MS Outlook;
Login to Outlook connected to Exch 5.5 under user account with Administrator rights access
create an archive folder and just copy Public Folder contents fr Exch5 server
this will create a local copy of the archive PST file
Now login to Outlook connected to the Exch2k server under Administrator right account
Open the archive PST file and move the contents to the Exch 2k Public Folder
Login to Outlook connected to Exch 5.5 under user account with Administrator rights access
create an archive folder and just copy Public Folder contents fr Exch5 server
this will create a local copy of the archive PST file
Now login to Outlook connected to the Exch2k server under Administrator right account
Open the archive PST file and move the contents to the Exch 2k Public Folder
philcruis, that would just copy contents, not the folders.Outlook is not an Exchange server management tool, it can be a bit trickier than that.
