Does anyone know if it possible to move 2004 from one machine to another. I have a need to put 3 copies on old machines until their replacements arrive.

Howdy:

You can move it but, thanks to the activation requirement, they won't work !!

BTW, what you are proposing is tantamount to software piracy.. Read the EULA that came with the program.. One computer per program !!

not read the EULA (as usual) but it will still be one computer per copy because as soon as the new machines arrive the old ones are being scrapped.

Are these three separate versions of 2004 or copies of one version??

Mrray

no - three seperate copies. The idea was to install them onto the individual machines until the new machines arrive (which should only be a matter of weeks). I noticed that you had to activate within 15 days - so it might be a bit tight.

Each of the three machines will then be replaced.
