Hello Everyone,

Here is my dilema. For years we have been operating from two different sites. Both sites have Merlin Magix systems connected by a T1. Site A (Which is closing) has Merlin Messaging. How can I go about to move it to Site B. Besides just taking the card out and inserting it into Site B?

Thanks in Advance...

You hit the nail on the head - remove the Merlin Messaging from the site it lives at now, and intall it at the site that is remaining.

You will need to reprogram the voice mail calling group and the coverage group, but the mailboxes and auto attendant will already be done in the Messaging.

How can I reprogram the voice mail group and coverage group? Is that also done through WinSPM?

Yes, it is done through WinSPM. You're already dialing something to reach the voice mail, that is the voice mail calling group. There is a "non-local" member in the calling group, you would remove this, and add the actual voice mail port extension numbers (which you will determine when you go to install the module, based on the slot that you put it in and the other modules installed to the left of it). The Coverage group is also currently programmed to the calling group, so you don't have to change that.

You will find the settings under Extensions > Group Calling > Members

Failing that, you need to find an experienced technician to do the work for you.
