I have been running Exchange 2000 for over a year. I'm currently running SP2 on both servers. I have a Front-End and Back-End configuration both running Exchange 2000. I would like to change the Operation Mode to Native prior to upgrading to SP3.

I downloaded the article Q272314 Preparing to Mixed Mode Org'n for Conversion to Native Mode. When I try and delete the Directory Replication Connetor ADNAutoDRC I receive the following error.

An Error occured when trying to connect to the BridgeHead Server XXXXX.
The Microsoft Exchange Server computer dose not responed.
Microsoft Exchange Directory
ID no: DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM

XXXXX is one of my Domain Controller not a Exchange Server?

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated..
Thanks
Dave

Check AD Site & Services. Make sure you sites and subnets are defined correctly. I think XXXXXXXX is the global catalog server for the domain. This is a comms problem related to DNS, Site and Services.
