I have two pbx switches on two different bases (locations). pbx "A" and pbx "B" a few users from pbx "A" are moving to the base where pbx "B" is located and they want there numbers from pbx "A" to follow them to pbx"B". How do I move extensions from pbx "A" TO pbx "B"?

Are the 2 systems linked with an IP trunk or are they completely seperate?

hardware platforms? cm software versions?
Are the two pbx's connected with tie trunks or IP network?
Is uniform dialplan turned on?

yes they are tied by T1 trunks, pbx "A" & "B" ARE BOTH 8710'S. Uniform dial plan is turned on. we were able to do the command: change uniform-dialplan 8xxxx and delete it out of pbx "A" then we were able to add the extension 8xxxx in pbx "B" by doing the command: add uniform dialplan 8xxxx. the problem we are having is: the out side world is not able to dial the number, they get a busy signal and any other base here (wew have a total of 4 pbx(s)) also gets a busy signal, it seems the only people that are able to dial that extension is where from pbx "A" where the extension originated.
what are we not doing or missing, what programming should we be doing??

thanks for all your help but:
help!!!!

Make sure in each switch, udp for each ext or range is local in the correct switch and routes to AAR analysis to the tie trunks for the non-local extensions

You are using incoming DID trunks and connecting to tie trunks to the moved stations in the other switch.

In the switch with the incoming DID trunk-group
