Moving Exchange from C: to D:

I need to install Co-Standby Server and Legato says that I need to have all Exchange server files and data in D: (Second Disk) to be replicated.
Right now I have Exchange in C: and DMDBData).
I already tried to move all from C: to D: and changed registry. It worked.
Please let me know if anyone has better idea or experience of moving all Exchange files and data to other disk without reinstalling Exchange server.

You need to run the Exchange Optimizer. It will allow you to move files from one drive to another safely without needing to change the registry manually.

This is the recommended way of moving Exchange.

I know that.
What I'd like to know is if I can move everything under
c:\exchsrvr to d:\exchsrvr without reinstallation.
I don't want to take any risk to reinstall Exchange on D: and restore database.
The Optimizer can move only database not programs and some database.
If anyone know, please let me know.
Or I have to reinstall Exchange on D:.
