My desire is to ultimately upgrade our NT4 domain to Windows 2000 AD. The original PDC would eventually be removed from the domain. The PDC is currently our only Exchange 5.5 sp4 server. It also provides OWA to our usrs. I have introduced a windows 2000 Server as a standalone member of the domain and successfully installed Exchange 5.5 Sp4 on it. I have performed a Move Mailbox for test and all works well except:

- When attempting to access the mailbox through OWA on the new server, I am required to supply the domain with the username prompt...

Can anyone tell me how to eliminate this?

You will eventually want to shut down the existing server. Be sure to follow the procedure for removing the first server in a site. You can find a white paper on that by just searching on the phrase 'removing the first server'.
