Hello,

WE are a novice to this software running under novel 411.
Currently our database is getting full and we are thinking of moving it to another volume within the server. Any
tips on migrating this would be greately appreciated as it is causing havoc to our arcserve database.

I answered this for another user. Copy your database and job folders to a temp area...actually, all the sub folders for Arcserve...then uninstall it...and re-install it to your other volume. Then copy the database and job folders back..log too. This way, you don't loose all previous job information. It's as simple as that. Also, perhaps set pruning to 30 day's, in server Manager, and I'd delete the Arcserve log or copy it every couple of weeks and delete it...keep only the most recent few. It'll re-build itself, so don't worry about that.

Hello,

Thanks for the advice. My IT says we may have to apply the
service pack again. How do I know what service pack has been applied .

regards

Click on Help, and look at About, that usually tells you which rev-level and sp you're at.
