I need to move a G450 from the 10th floor to the 11th floor within the same building. The gateway has a DS1 card, 1 analog MM711 card and a Announcement card.
Besides extending or relocating the voice circuits, providing enough electrical power and rack space is there anything else that needs to be done?
Is it merely "plug and play" once all the connectivity is established at the new location?

CM 6.0

Is the IP address range the same on the 11th floor as the 10th floor?

When no S8300 inserted , just bustout all ds1 and station board on that gateway and then power down and move out.

When have S8300 inserted , you must shutdown and backup the S8300 server first .

Make sure the new rack is properly grounded with a good ups

The IP address will not change for the gateway itself but the phones will be re-iped.
No S8300 to worry about.

Are there any commands in ASA to perform? When I power down the G450 will there be alarms in the switch?

Your main system will alarm to show the gateway is out of service, but as long as the IP for the G450 do not change it should come backup in the its new home.
The phone getting, you will need to add that IP address range to the IP-Network-map, so you can put them in the correct network region.
