Hi all,
Is there and easy way to move a DTS package from my dev server to my production server? I can copy it by using the save as, but I must remove it from the prod before copying it over. Is there an easier way to replace the exsisting one?

Thanks,
Joe

Click File
Click Save AS
Select "Structured Storage File"
Save it as a file, copy the file to the new server and open it from there.

*OR*

Click File
Click Save As
Select the server you wish to save to and save it there...

ASP, VB, VBS, Cold Fusion, SQL, DTS, T-SQL, PL-SQL, IBM-MQ, Crystal Reports, Crystal Enterprise

Well, if I were to read the entire post...

The only way I would *suggest* doing it would be to remove the existing and replace with the updated, or use the methods suggested by camaleonCHILE...

Don't forget that you may have to re-schedule any jobs associated with the DTS Package...
