hi...
I am making a movie with some overlaping and colour effects (using colour balance on all the 'layers'. When I run the movie before rendering, it is all smooth and very nice -the effects work etc. But after rendering the movie jumps up and down (just a little in terms of distance, but a lot in terms of speed: like it is shivering or something!). When there is no transparency (ie when there is only one layer) it jumps less -but during the film, as each layer is added (to a max of three)it gets worse. It is as if each layer is vibrating to its own crazy rhythm...

Can anyone help me? I am so stuck!

Thank you!!

oh ,yeah, 4got to mention... Im using Adobe Premiere Pro 2...

please help me!! I have to present the movie tomorow morning to my tutors at uni... I dont want them to bite my head off!! :0)

Maybe you should ask your tutor?

Nevertheless, it sounds rather like interlace flicker to me.

Maybe you have some narrow horizontal lines with highish-contrast edges, or you have some edges of areas with horizontal, contrasted, boundaries with one edge quite bright? One possible kludge is to apply a bit of vertical blur to affected clips. Or nest the sequence and apply the cure to the sequence as a clip on another timeline rather than to its source sequence.

Or maybe your whites are too white (max 235 for NTSC - try the broadcast colors effect).

hey, a tutor at school explained it to me: I had the project in NTSC mode when it should have been in DVPAL. It was getting confused resizing the image!
Thank you for yourreply Akribie!
The reason that I asked here is that Im in Architecture school so people dont know too much about this kind of software...
