I moved VMPro to a newer computer. I installed a fresh copy of Admin and VMPro, same levels as the original(4.2.23 and 4.2.24 respectively) and all went well. I copied the VM folder from the old machine into the new machine, rather than have all the users lose their messages and greetings, etc...and I exported and imported the .mdb backup so that all the call flows would be there. All of that stuff works.

The issue came up that users are unable to log in to their mailboxes. They dial *17, put in their mailbox number, then the password they used it says "incorrect login". I noticed in the VMPro client that there are no mailboxes under the user area, so I created a new user and merged. Still no users...any ideas?

That usually means some of the ports are blocked between system and server, turn off any firewall/AV and see what happens :)

I ran the updated AvayaFW.bat before, after and even a third time. It wasn't until I turned the firewall off that the mailboxes came through. Thanks for the tip! I wish I knew why the updated version didn't work this time though...it's worked in the past just fine.

Ahhh, the mysteries of life...Thanks again!

one thing the updated Avaya FW NEVER catches is the fact that ContactStore is installed... it even tells you it isn't installed, even tough you just finished...
