I have moved some mailbox's from one W2K server running Exchange2000 v6.0 Build 6249.4 SP3 to another server running the same configuration.

The move completed sucessfully and does not appear in the source message store, but in the new destination it has a red cross through each mailbox moved.

The users AD profile shows that the mailbox should be on the new server, but if you try and move it back to the original server it thinks that the source is still the original - (hope that make sense!!)

I've tried to purge one of them, but it won't claiming that "the object has not been replicated to the destination server" - which sort of makes sense. However, these mailbox's were moved on Monday morning and it's now mid-Tuesday!!

Is there a way to force replication of Exchange or is there another way to fix this?

I forced a couple of site replications, again, and it has removed the red cross and users can now access their mail.
