Moved mailboxes to a new server and problems

Dear All
Exchange with Outlook
I just moved all mailboxes from server1 to server2 in the same site, and faced the following problems
1. network users can"t delete messages
2. They receive mixed up messages , say messages from John are seen in Jacob
3. their inbox shows as having 3 ,4 or messages but they get none or one.

any idea? please.

hat did you use, or rather how did you moved the mailboxes?

microsoft exchange is installed on server2, joined the site.
*Start exchange admin in server1
*select server i.e server1
*then goto recepients
*then select all Mailboxes
*from options menu choose move mail box
*select server2 in the popup dialog
*click ok
The move takes several hours.

... i had similar problems on some mailboxes after moving to a new server. after moving them again to the old and back to the new server the problems disappeared. not a really good tip, but it worked.
