I am in the process of moving users mailboxes to a new server in preparation for decommissioning our existing exch 2K server. I moved a select number of mailboxes to test and when I did, I found that no external mail flowed into those boxes (outbound went a little slow, but fine).

What am I missing here?

Thnx

Does the new server has a SMTP Connector setup with the bridgehead pointing to the first server?

Yes, there is an SMTP connector, address space is set to *.

It takes a little bit of time for the directory update to be replicated.

I left it for several hours...still not working. I would think that replication should have taken place by now.

BTW, both servers have SP3 applied.
