Move the entire Sharepoint to a new drive

I am new to SP and it seems like everyihtng got installed on the C drive. I would like to be able to migrate the entire SP to a an available, dedicated D drive for backup purposes. I wasn't able to find the right documentation - all I found was about the database. Will moving the database take care of the entire SP content (images, custome pages, etc)?

this is true. however MOSS maintains certain files on the C drive disk (12 folder). but in your case shifting the DBs ought to do it. however i have not done this before...

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
