easy question - are there any issues with moving ou's within a single domain? is this advisable? or even possible?

I know i can move users easily between ou's but can you move ou's just as easily?

Thanks

Right click the OU, select Move, no problem. I've done it a lot when I reorganize users, no problems.

I have done it serveral times my self and have encontered no problems.

thanks for replying, i thought that you could do this- however when i did it the ou disapeared and then reapeared as an unknown object - all users in the ou were unable to receive mail, i managed to sort it out by moving the users from a dc that hadnt replicated - i assumed i had done somthing that 'couldnt be done'. now i cant work out what went wrong- any ideas? by the way operation performed from pc with AD U&C installed -all w2k sp2

Cheers

Chris
