Dear Gurus

I am tasked with moving several users from their current cubes to new cubes and keep existing DNs.

All of users currently have 2616 sets and are going to get I2002 sets in their new cubes.

How can this move best be accomplished?
in ld 20, do I use the MOV or the CPY command? Is it possible to move/copy the 2616 TNs to the virtual TNs used by the I2002 sets?

I am confused. Please advise.

no you will have to null their current DN, or chg it, then build it on their new sets. The the chg type only works ip to ip set type.

OK, I've stumbled along and made some progress.
On the user's exsiting 2616 set, I assigned an open DN to it. Then built the I2002 and assigned to user's extension from the 2616 set. So far so good.

The problem is that now I cannot set the CPND on either type set using ld 95 or ld 20.

What am I missing?

In LD11, at CPND, you either enter "NEW" or "CHG" - then it prompts you for "NAME"

LD20 is just the load you started in, but all the guides refer to LD11 as the overlay to make changes to digital phones. The system automagicaly moves to into LD11 when it knows you are changing a digital TN.

When you see CPND you type in NEW
This will give you another prompt to add the name.

you could just build them all, then put the name in in ld 95, little easier as it continues to prompt DN until you enter out.
