Hi there,
We are moving a few established 5212 phones to a building across the street.
They will have ip connectivity to the Mitel 3300 but need to be set up with static ip addresses.
I've forgotten how to do this.
When they are re-connected at the new offices what are the steps that need to be done?
I don't need to register them with *** local superkey, or do I?
Thanks for any help, I know this is a simple question, but I haven't done phone support for a few years.

When you boot the phone hold the up volume arrow. It should go into the setup menu. Release it and use then follow the prompts until you reach the network configuration and you should be able to statically setup the phone. If they have been on the 3300 at some point, you should not have to re-register them with the ***.

Thank you so much!

I did some searching on this site and found that solution, but it referenced setting up teleworker (which I'm not doing)so I wasn't sure if it was the same for my needs.

Yes, these phones are all currently on the 3300 right now.

My boss is moving the phones tomorrow - so I've just emailed him this information.

I won't need to make any changes on the Mitel 3300?

No changes to the 3300. Setting up a teleworker involves holding the 7 key during boot. The volume key is for statically setting up a phone.
