Move Exchange 5.5 on NT 4 to a new 2k server

I have a new Windows 2000 server that I would like to move my Exchange 5.5 install to. I need to move the exchange install because the new machine has quite a bit more power. I'm going from a p233 w/ 512meg to a p4xeon with 1gig. Is it easier to install Ex5.5 on the new machine then migrate or should I upgrade the nt4 box to 2k then migrate? Also, are there any considerations other then the port 389 thing with LDAP and active directory I need to worry about?

Are you using Active Directory or a flat NT4 domain?
