I have a SIP 20 and a SIP 5 License. I wanted to know how to move the SIP 5 License from one IOOffice 500 v1 R8.0(44) system to another IOOffice 500 v1 R8.0(44) system in another office.
It is possible. Contact your Avaya Business Partner (needs to be someone who deals directly with Avaya distributors, assuming you do not do so yourself).
The process of a license transfer (any license) involves purchasing a new feature key for the IP500 that's giving up the license. The license gets re-applied to the feature key for the system it's being moved to, and you get a new encrypted key to load into Manager for the receiving system.
Meanwhile, back on the system that gave up the license, it gets the new feature key with only the licenses it's keeping re-applied. The old feature key then needs to be returned to Avaya within a certain window in order to avoid being invoiced for the removed license as though it were new.
Your Business Partner or distributor ought to be able to handle most of the legwork on this for you (dealing with procuring the new feature key and orchestrating the transfer).
