Mouse Wheel

I have read somewhere on how to make the wheel on a mouse scroll down the page but I cannot seem to find it. Can anyone please refresh my memory on what I need to do so the scroll mouse works.

I have found that my terminal servers detect the wheel - or rather that the "Intellimouse" sends its own information via the wheel.

Are you having difficulties geteting it to work?

None of the users with the wheel mouse are able to scroll down by using the wheel. It is more of an annoyance than a problem but if I could get it to work it would be good.

Is the Intellipoint software installed on the users PCs - ie can they use the wheel locally?

Which version of MetaFrame are you running? Which service packs/hotfixes?

I'm using the latest Citrix ICA client from their website, I have the Intellipoint software on my PC and the server is set to a generic Logitec PS/2 mouse driver.

My servers are all SP2/FR1 enabled, TSE SP6.

If your setup differs from mine, can you upgrade it?

We have not installed the service pack yet we are planning that for the Holiday break. I think that I read somewhere that SP2 is what allows the mouse to work hopefully once that is installed the scroll will work. I will keep you posted on the outcome.

I have found that Win95 machines cannot scroll, but Win98 machines can. I also had problems with Logitech mice assuming whatever configuarion the server had. This was resolved by installing the Logitech software on the client machines, and even in Citrix deskop it assumed the setting for the locally installed mouse software.
