Does anyone know of a virus that might do the following:

mouse can click icons on desktop and start them.
mouse can be right clicked in desktop area and menu pops up.

mouse dose not work in taskbar area.
when an application is open, and you click the mouse in the application window, nothing happens and the the application window becomes not the active window.

Thanks

Have you tried updating the drivers of the mouse or changing them. Had something similar here.

Yeah, did that, it may also be that the mouse has problems. It is an old mouse, just haven't had time to try a new one yet. Thought I might post the problem here just in case it was a new virus. I haven't had the time to update my definition file for a while.

Thanks
