Mouse cursor changes

In flash 5.0 is there any way to change the mouse to a standard windows or Mac mouse cursor. When u define a symbol as a button, a new cursor of a pointing hand occurs. Is there any way to get that pointing hand cursor for a movie clip through actionscript?

BTW, I know I could use an invisible button, but is there any way to do it through scripting?

You might not be able to get that standard pointing finger cursor, but guess you could change it to your own pointing finger cursor than with a hitTest have it appear over a movie clip, without the use of an invisible button.

no...in flash 5 the mouse.hide is all you have....got to use a workaround....only in mx can this be done with actionscript.

still cant be done with actionscript....you have to make the replacement cursor....there is no equivelant of useHandCursor = false;
