I was wondering if there is a maximum length for a mouse cable. We are needing a PS2 mouse with a cable that is approximately 100 feet long. If this is not available, is there a wireless mouse that can extend to 100 feet?

Thank you.

You can't get more than about 20' from a WIFI mouse, but you might be able to get away with 100' serial cable.

Good luck seeing the screen, though. ;)

Hmmm, got a user with long arms eh... [bigsmile]

Best I can find is 25ft, but the picture shows basic AT style DIN connectors, not PS/2's...

With longer lengths of cable, you start to introduce ever more resistance, capacitance and inductance into the equation, let alone the likelyhood of interference pickup.

Wireless is most unlikely to work over that distance even if it's completely clear line-of-sight.

Answer: Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with Range extenders. Should get you your 100 feet you need. Below is a website that has one. It says it does bluetooth as well as other wireless products. You can do a little more research on extenders and may find one better than this. this one was just with a quick google search.

Also a store with multiple options
