Hey all

anyone know of a way to mount an IMA file in a virtual type drive for installing?

I've tried winimage but i can't seem to do anything but extract or put on a file ..

thanks!

IMA???? see this:
and then tell me how that is supposed to be able to be mounted ???

now IMG I would understand... and could tell you to either use Alcohol's Virtual CD, Nero Virt.CD, or DaemonTools Virtual CD or convert using Ultra Iso or WinISO...

Linney, while your response is sassy and unapplicable, I have myself to blame for not providing more clarity.

BadBigBen, Thanks for the effort.

An IMA file is an image file of a 3.5 floppy (as you all gasp at the thought) Yes, I have aquired some Images in 3.5 format.

I have appeared to resolve this one somewhat .. apparently while trying to mount it in winimage I would select the "virtual drive" to use .. for some reason lower drives would not work (M: N: O:) .. however when i chose Z: as the virtual drive .. everything mounted fine. Why it didn't like that other drive, I couldn't say.. but it works now.

Thanks! :)
