Hi,

Anybody ever mount novell filesystem? I compiled IPX, NCP and NWFS into kernel. It booted ok, no problem. How do I go about setting the ipx? In /etc/defaults/rc.conf file contain some example. I uncomment the line:

ifconfig_ed0_ipx="ipx 0x00010010"
ipxrouted_enable="YES"

When I type "ncplist s", I couldnt get any of novell server. Am I missing somenthing here?

Thank you in advance.

Don't you need to log on to a Novell server first? Look into /usr/ports/net/ncplib

Regards.

HI,

I dont need to log on first as Novell server will broadcast as long as you are on the correct novell network. I will look into ncplib. If you type "ncplist s", you should get a list of server that you can connect to as long as you have permission to logon.

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to connect to freebsd from dos?

The reason is that I would like to take ghost image of my machine but need to have a place where I can dump the ghost image when I'm in Dos mode running ghost.

Is there a way to connect and map a drive letter to Freebsd/Linux on my network from DOS?

Kind of like the nwclient utility on the netware?

Thanks
