under root, there is a directory called "tsm".
How do you mount it?

thx much

Have you tried mount tsm? I assume it's Tivoli Storage Mangager. What is in /etc/filesystems?

I want to be good, is that not enough?

first show output of

lsfs /tsm

please.

HTH,

root> ls -al

....
drwxrwxrwx 5 root system 256 Apr 23 2004 tsm
....

tsm is not labeled /tsm, so I like to mount it so that the growth of tsm directory is not going to impact on the filesystem space of root.

From your above answer, I am assuming that tsm is just a directory not a filesystem.
Fisrt of all you have to create filesystem and then copy all data to that filesystem.

Your output soen't tell a thing to me...

So again:

first show output of the command

lsfs /tsm

please?
