MOTOROLA SM56 VOICE XP Compatibility? 1

Does anyone have the URL of where i can download XP drivers?
I tried the win2k drivers, they installed ok, then when i try to dial, it days " error opening port". BUT! when I tried it with hyperterminal, it dialed up ok and the port opened fine! is this a microsoft error, or dodgy drivers? (i suspect that it is a bit of both....)

i've installed the standart win200 drivers and it connects at max 16.8 kbs (!). I contact support and they sad that there are no drivers for xp and there won't be.

I also installed a PC, and XP reported a Motorola SM56 modem. This is just te chipset used. It was a e-tech bullet modem, so I installed the drivers provided by the e-tech website:

http://www.e-tech.nu

Look for the PCI56MO (mo=motorola)

Try the fax modem drivers.

i installed the motorola sm56 pci modem on xp it was installed successfully but there was some confliction in it
i uninstall it and then it was never installed again .

and update driver

Hi,
These also didn't work for me!!! After starting intsallation it pauses on installing Modem(s) for a minute or so then goes back to win XP desktop, but does not install any modems!! only the software. I have tried all the files etc plus some more from other locations and all have failed! Very frustrating!!!!!! Any more suggestions?

I have winxp and using xerox workcentre m940 i'm using sm56 voice modem. Ijust can't fax anything on the quicklink feature. Do i need to update the drivers? where do i get the updates.
