I just received a new system and it came with 9.0.0.0 b829 software. I keep seeing posts about problems with 9.0.4 and 9.0.3 updates. What is the most stable of the version 9 software packages, in your opinion? The system will be IPO500 V2, 2 digital station 8 cards with 9500 series phones, and one analog 4 port card with all 4 ports in use. I have one other system just like it in use on 9.0.3.0 b941, and so far it has not had any issues. That one is close by the office, but the new one is going in a clinic an hour away, so I don't want to introduce any problems!
Thanks in advance,
DT

If it works for you with no issues, then leave it alone.

If it aint broke, dont fix it!!!!

Old advise from Jamie but still the best.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

So 9.0.3 with the critical patch has been OK. I haven't had any major issues with 9.0.2 either.

Me neither with 9.0.4 so far, I don't see why not use the latest version.
I assume you have a Windows PC and the recommended autoupdates are on.
Then every tuesday M$ release udates which are installed automatically.
Now I ask you : did you notice a problem before or after the upgrade?
Most likely not and that accounts for Avaya software as well, 9.0.4 is better as 9.0.3 as 9.0.3 is the base of 9.0.4
And there may rise a bug in 9.0.4 and I assure you it will in previous versions too.

Said that I advise to use 9.0.4 on new installs and leave the exsisting sites as they are unless there is a urgent reason to upgrade ( additional features / bugs / unsupported hardware etc. )

still using 9.0.2 and is great

i have try upgrade to 9.0.3 but ipo restart after a call is transferred to extension in greeting (vmpro)
another 45 minutes to downgrade [pipe]

Andri211, there is a patch for that.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

yups i know , there is a critical patch
but the user already made decision, they want 9.0.2

perhaps on my new site, i will try 9.0.4

R11.0 should be the best version ever, they are still working on it and will be released 2018 ;-)
