I'd like to learn how to morph body edges without losing realism. For example, how can I pull back the bridge of the nose below?
Using the clone stamp tool, I don't like the idea of copying the background and pasting over the undesired region of the nose because I would lose the nice shading line that runs along the nose edge. Instead, I could clone stamp the edge itself (as shown below) and pull that back, but I run into problems getting the new edge to line up with itself, presumably because the original edge is not a straight line.
So, are there other tricks I can use to achieve the desired effect? FYI, I'm using a Photoshop Elements 6 and a regular mouse.
