hello

I have a white square that I would like to have expand in size over 10 frames. The white square has an alpha setting of 50%. how can I apply a shape tween to this white square and keep the alpha setting at 50%.
currently I am applying a shape tween to the white square. This only works if I break apart the white square first but when I do this I lose the alpha setting of 50%. I goes to a alpha setting of 100%

any suggestions would be a big help

thanks

either convert your square to a graphic press F8 and use a motion tween or select your first frame of the shape tween and use fill and transparency on it the same with the last frame of the shape tween.
hope it helps.

thanks c23 for the reply

I will play with it later today
