More Voice Mail Ports

We have approx 150 voicemails and 4 ports.

We are experiencing some delays getting to voicemail, and am assuming I need more ports.

Do we need NTak16ab or ntak15ab or both ?

Any other cards ?

And what are good prices for the cards needed ?

Nortel Meridian VMail Rls 12 (may be rls 13) 3 cards

if it's rel 12 it doesn't ask for a user name before the login password. my rel 13 is built against the same qpc41c card for all ports (24). you will need a vp8 or 4 for the mail and new keycodes to turn them on. the upgrade takes about an hour after a full and a partial backup. add stations in the acd group and run the install tape. the reason for the two backup is that a full backs up the os and all user data. the partial backups up just the user. if you try to restore from a full and the os is corrupt on the back up. reinstall from install and type voice srevices and mail boxes back in. with a partial, you can do a new install, put your key codes in and restore from the partial. a partial does not format the harddrive. unless you have the original install tape and keycodes, don't touch the mail. how fast can you type is not usually a good option. when a upgrade goes smooth you never need the backups.

What is a vp4 or 8
