When a call comes in thru a Module/Shortcode start point and you want the call to ring a group,you need to have a transfer action to that group, the system puts the call on hold immediately and the caller hears MOH straight away ie...Theyt dial the number, hear a ring or 2 as it connects then get MOH while the system rings the group can you have the caller hear the ringing instead of MOH.

This was the case with older versions, 2.0(16) VM Pro now plays ring tone on transfer action if directed directly from a Transfer action.

There may be a work around.... let me see your manager ".cfg" and vmpro "vmdata.mdb" files.

What version of VM/firmware are you using.??
This HAS changed with different releases of firmware and VM Pro versions.
