Hi there, I have a user that sends messages to different Distribution lists and some of the recipients recieve more than one copy of the email, there are no error messages retured. Any ideas as to what this could be. I've checked the SMTP connector and all look fine. The only thing that I have is that there are two smart hosts. One is the local machine and the other is our ISP's SMTP server. They both have a cost setting of 1, would this cause it?

First thing to do is to get the user to check that the people recieving multiple copies are not members of more than one of his/her distribution lists

Yes the users that got two copies of the email are in more than one of her DL's. The DL's that she is using are one's that she created in her Contacts list. So far I know that 3 users got the email twice, two were interanl and one was external. This only seems to be happening with this one user.

The last reply hopefully has resolved my dilema. Thanks. I turned off the setting on the users mailbox that asks for notification when an email has been opened by a reipient. Will wait and see if this resolves the issue.
