I have some Terminal Servers using Citrix. I want to be able to deliver the Application via Internet Explorer and have created the required applications in a shared folder.

I tried the browser from another server in the same Domain and it works just fine.

All users (Windows 9x etc) can see the server through network neigbourhood but when they they click on it they get the message that "the computer can not be found - check the name is spelt correctly..."

Fairly certain this is due to the use of workgroups on the windows 9x machines even through the majority of usernames and passwords are the same on both clients and Server.

Can anyone confirm this and is there a work round?

Thanks
Brian

You need to be certain that the Windows 95 users are logging onto the domain. If they are just logging into a Workgroup and not being authenticated onto the domain, they will not be able to access server resources.

I would be surprised if they could not access the resource through their terminal server client, though.

I'm not sure that I am quite clear on what you are trying to achieve. Please correct me if I have misunderstood, and I'll try again.

I hope this information is useful

Thanks, this confirms my suspicions and you have understood what I was trying to achieve.

Have solved some issues using LMHOSTS and others by ensuring clients are authenticated to DOMAINS.

Thanks
B
