The North Carolina Veteran's Park in Fayetteville has the preamble to the US Constitution etched in glass on a wall.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Can you spot the mistake? They didn't until the monument was in place. To find the answer look at this article

Not sure, but I would write "...ensure domestic Tranquility...", and also put comma before "...and our Prosperity...".
Now I have to check that article when I have a moment.
 
At the time the Constitution was ratified (1789) ensure and insure were interchangeable. That's not the error.
