monthly full backup

what is the best way to make a full backup of a server (linux and windows) every month ?

Full bkup is not something which fits with TSM philosophy

personnaly I use Archiving for end of month, or you can do a BkupSet

You can right script which updates policy to reflect Copy Mode: absolute every month.So it will perform full backup on that day for that policy , once backup done . Then update policy back to Copy Mode: modified.
