Is this a function that needs to be added to work? It works on my desktop but does not on my laptop.

I want to use a function that will read the numeric month and convert it to the name ie September, etc.

This works but only on my desktop.

Thanks,

Mitchy

I don't know MonthDate but MonthName

Hope This Helps, PH.

My fault. It is MonthName. Is this an add on because it is not working on my lap top. I get an undefined fucntion error.

And what about Format([your date field],'mmmm') ?

Do you have different versions of Access installed on your laptop and desktop, perhaps?

The simplest solution is the best!
