We would like to monitor these PBX's for system faults/error messages. Can these PBX's send SNMP traps to SNMP managers like HP Openview? Is SNMP trap alarming a standard feature of these PBX's, or is this something optional that must be purchased and installed separately? Are there other ways to monitor these PBX's other than SNMP traps? Thanks.

Hi ,

I have exactly the same need, and it seems that an external solution is existing or the HiPath Fault Manager is able to to this, but I am waiting for information from SIemens, I will keep you informed !

Regards !

How about using the error signaling option over the x75 modem. Have never used personally, but the option seems to be there.
