Is there a software package availible that will let me monitor employees who are using chat programs?

Thanks,
Michael

We use a program called SurfControl
What is really nice about this software package is that it does not need to sit between you and your internet connection. It uses the same technology that some of the sniffers use, it takes the packet and looks at it, if it matches a set of predefined rules it either blocks it of passes the client to a denied page. The good thing about this software package is that if the monitor server goes down it does not affect any of your internet connections. We are currently using it to block Web Based E-mail sites, Adult, and other sites. We also using it to provide reports to the managment during evaluation time. It was also a key piece of logging for a case we currently have open against a hacking breach that logged all the activity of the hacker. Check it out, it's worth looking at....

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
