My company has a Definity G3 R9 and a MAPD system with Avaya Multivantage software. I need to monitor this system and popup a screen on a client PC when phone system directs an incoming call to same person. I did some reading but still I am not clear about where to start. Should I send requests to the DEFINITY LAN Gateway Port 5678, or what is the proper way of monitoring call routings, caller IDs from a outside program.
I am new in this area,thus any starting point or samples will be a great help.
