When i start my computer my monitor stays on for a few seconds (green light) and then it says "power saving mode" and it goes into standby (yellow light). I can hear the hard drive working normally, its just the monitor that wont work, yet when i unplug the cable from the cpu it stays on with the "no signal" warning. This happened once before about 2 months ago but it went back to normal after 2 days without me doing anything. I have tried rebooting hundreds of times... I cant change my settings on it because the monitor is not working so i cant see what im doing... I might borrow my friend's monitor to see if it works with his.

Windows XP pro
Pentium 4 2.8 ghz HT
512 mb ram
120 gb hd
ATI Radeon 9200 256mb
LG 17in. LCD monitor

I tested it with a different monitor and it works fine... then i tested my monitor on another computer and it worked so there is nothing wrong with the monitor. Help me please!
