We have a small home network of 5 pc and would like to monitor the amount of data each pc is downloading from the internet. How can i do this...is there any third party software i could use?????

There really is not easy solution. I have seen slick packages that do this, but they are designed to monitor large corporate networks. I have also seen hardware that does this but it is expensive.

Since this is a small network, you could put in some logging software on the computers that you wish to monitor. I have had the need to monitor employee's internet usage and installed monitoring software that recorded everything they did, places they visted etc.
