You can also add a small amount of asp code to your index page, and set a Session variable so that each visit from the same person within a specified time doesn't rate in the hits section.
Your log files are nice, but the show ALL hits, even from the same person, and generally are not so useful.

If you like I can post some asp code that'll work.
