Hi guys, very wierd problem occured today.

User called me, and stated that the ENTIRE display on the workstation is Now upside down, also the mouse controls are inverted... ie Left = Right, Up = Down..

The machine runs Windows XP..

Anyone seen this issue before?

Thanks in Advance

Common problem. Either a "friend" has inserted a "joke" program, or video has been accidently reset by user. Most newer video boards have a "Customize" menu. On this menu is a setting to "rotate" screen. Open this menu and put the screen back where it should be.

or even better yet, tell the user that they will have to do a head stand to use their computer.

What kind of Video Card do they have installed? If the for example you have a motherboard with the intergrated Intel Extreme Graphics, you can click on the monitor icon in the systray and rotate the monitor. I am sure others have the same function.

On PCs with the 845 Intel Extreme Graphics chip, CTRL+ALT+arrow keys controls screen rotation.

Try CTRL+ALT+up arrow.

Thanks Frank4d.

The machine does have a Intel 845 Card.
And the Ctrl+Alt+ Up arrow fixed it.

Many Thanks!
