Hello, our MOH is not working. I have checked the Music source, working good all the way back to the TN. I have created a new source on another TN, still no music. I have also confirmed the trunks have the correct MUS Source/Rte set up on them. Any other ideas?

I do not see that as an option in LD16

Do you have it input on a 66 block? Did you remember the pin out of the cable? I know mine is every other port counting up. So it is wired on that card as pairs 2, 4, 6, 8 and that goes to TN 00, 01, 02, 03, etc. Does that make sense?

The conference loop is assigned when you build the music trunk

I am new to Meridian but think I have a decent handle on it. When I created the trunk it did not prompt for conference loop, just tn - type - cust - xtrk - timp - bimp - nmus & rtmb.

I am not sure about the pin out situation. I had talked to ATAC and they suggested I just change it to a different TN which I did. It was working previously but suddenly stopped. I will check further.

Thank you both for all of your suggestions.

If you are not getting the cflp prompt on the trunk then something is not right with the route programming. What happens when you dial the ACOD to the route? Do you hear music?

I get nothing when I call the ACOD Route

If the route is programmed as a music route and you outed the old trunk and rebuilt it then there is now way you should have been able to get past the CFLP prompt when building the trunk, Unless you have the Music Broadcast Option. Is BDCT set to YES in the RDB in LD 16?

I got the same problem but I found later that the problem cased from cable disconnected from the PC that runing music (windows media player)

If you have a Butt set - Pull wires from where you have them punched down and clip it to the wires towards your music source - you should hear music.

If not problem is towards the Music source or the source.

If you do hear music - problem towards PBX
- make sure you are on the correct TN (Univ Trk card skips a pair) TN 4.0.1.0 is on white/blue, tn 4.0.1.1 is on white/green
- make sure Route does not have TARG or phone dialing ACOD with has a different TGAR and CLS = UNR
- Make sure Univ Trk ports are enabled - ld 32 - stat 4 0 1
- Replace Univ trk if all above are correct and still not music - or move to a different card
