Paul,
look at the two amphenol cables coming out of the CICS (grey box on the wall to right of cable blocks. the cable on the left (has an embossed icon of two telephone poles) is for the CO lines from the telco. follow that cable back to the blocks on left and look for the violet/green pair of that cable. that is the MOH 600 ohm input for music on hold.
The music source can be any approved low-power device such as a radio
with a high-impedance earphone jack. The recommended ICS input level
is 0.25 V rms across an input impedance of 3300W.
I useually see the output of a radio or dvd headset jack (mono preferred) connected to the V/Gn Pr of the cable

see faq799-6894 and faq799-4980

I connected the MOH and it works great on the sets, however on hold the sound is very low and distorted.
any ideas?

Thank you

What are you using for a music source? What happens when you adjust the source volume?

It looks to be on the very bottom on your bix block, going by the pic I think I see a wh/or cross connect on it or close to it. It's kinda hard to see exactly if your on the vl/gr pair or not.

Thanks all for replys. I got it to work. It was my music source.
Even when volume was set up to max it was still extreamly low on hold. When I got a new radio connected all is working great.

Thanks,
Paul
