MOH on Partner 7.0

Customer called and says that he plugged in a source to the MOH on his ACS 7.0, and nothing is played on hold. Is there any programming associated with MOH on the 7.0, in contrast to previous releases? Thanks in advance.

There is a programming code to turn MOH on, and another to set the volume.

Check the RCA plug, many have plastic insulation over the outer conductor that prevents it from going all the way into the recessed RCA connector on the ACS. Use your snips or splicer's knife to skin it back if necessary.

Make sure the volume on the source is turned up as well.

It turned out to be a bad cable between the two devices......Just as I suggested to him before I had to drive all the way out there, but since he had just purchased the cable, there was no convincing him, until I bought a new cable and it works fine. Thanks anyway for the info.

9 out of ten times it is what TTT said. Peel back about an 1/8 inch of the plastic cover on the plug.
