I'm maintaing CUCM R6. If I have multiple calls on hold on a single phone (single line), why is it only the first caller will hear the MOH? Is that right or am I missing something in the config or settings?

All callers on hold should get MOH. Check your Device Pools and see if all phones have access to the Media Resource Group List that contains your MOH servers.

We have set which Audio Source to use in the Clusterwide Parameters (Default Network & User MOH Audio Source ID) settings. Do you still need to mess with Media Resource Group & Lists? We are able to get MOH for the first call that is put on hold from a device, it's the second or third call from that same device that does not get MOH.

Do the second, etc callers get beeps or nothing? If all callers hang up and a caller that didn't get MOH before is the first on hold, do they get MOH?

Sorry for all the questions, trying to get an idea.

pndscm, thanks for info. I have been informed our vendor is coming in to take care of some other things on our CM so I will throw this issue at him while he is here. Thanks again!
